Breathing Ball Breath

Breathing Ball Breaths

Note: This can be done using the Hoberman’s Sphere, aka the breathing ball. If you don’t have one, or if you are holding it, have the students use their hands to imagine they’re holding one to breathe.

Have students inhale through their nose while opening up the ball with their hands or opening their hands wide like the ball.

●Ask students to exhale either through their nose or their mouth while closing the ball with their hands or bringing their hands back together like the ball.

●Repeat 3 times.

Variation: The breaths can be slowed down or sped up.

Benefits: The inhale and exhale while the ball and their hands are getting bigger and smaller helps students to focus and calm their Bulldog Brain.
